Arrival by Car
The Fachwerkstadt (old town quarter of half-timbered houses) in Werratal with the motorways A7, direction North-South, and A44 and A5, direction East-West, is connected to the tourist traffic by national highways 27 and 80:
Visitors from Northern Germany turn off the motorway at the Drammetal junction via the exit to A38 in the direction of Witzenhausen. Motorists from a southern, partly also eastern, direction use the motorway exit to Bad Hersfeld.
From a westerly direction, one reaches the motorway in direction Hannover via the motorway junction Kassel and leaves this via the exit to Werratal.
