How to Get There by Car

The federal highways (Bundesstraße) B27 and B80 connect the town in the valley of the Werra river "Werratal" to the freeways A7 (north – south) and A44 and A5 (east – west) and thus to the main traveling roads.

From the north: follow A38 to Leipzig at the freeway interchange Drammetal and then take the exit Friedland. Then follow B27 to Bad Sooden-Allendorf/Eschwege.

From the south: follow A7 and take the exit Bad Hersfeld. Then follow B27 to Bad Sooden-Allendorf/Eschwege.

From the east: follow A4 and take the exit Wommen. Then follow B400/B27 to Bad Sooden-Allendorf/Eschwege.

From the west: at the freeway intersection Kassel, change from A44 to A7. Follow A7 and take the exit Werratal.

In Bad Sooden-Allendorf, follow the colored routes of the traffic management system.


How to Get There by Train

Bad Sooden-Allendorf has a train station served by regional trains. It is located between Göttingen and Kassel - both ICE train stations - on the Hamburg/Munich long distance line (via Frankfurt am Main).
